Finally finished downloading the 2.0 patch, took me more than 5 days to download it .

The size for the patch is 468MB , I'm trying to upload it to the http://www.4shared.com/ to let everyone to download it. The speed for downloading via 4shared is very fast, so you should be finish downloading it very soon.

I need a few hours to upload the files to the server, once it's completed I will post the link to let everyone download it.
File was split into 43.3MB, due to the restriction on 4shared. Files have been tested to make sure there was no corruption during the unzipping.

Part 01-10 = 44,392 KB

Part 11= 23,418 KB

Total Zipped = 456MB

After Unzipped = 468MB

There should have 2 files name like this:

Surely they will have an updated one next week so i wouldn't wanna re download all this again!

The background downloader, which I have set to download when the game is not loaded, is downloading the patch now. So it is actually available for download. I have it downloading on my laptop atm. It was at 15% downloaded when I left the house, so it's gonna be awhile before I have it myself.

I just got this from the Wow site in under a minute.   I tried logging in just in case i could.     Got the patch and installled it in 15 minutes.  Im assuming it was quick because not many people are accessing it at this time

can't blizzard do partial patch pieces without using a bittorrent-type distrobution?

I can rarely ever use the Blizz downloader when there are new patches out. It stops it because it always tells me I'm behind a firewall. Even though I've directed my router to accept the patches and I've shut my firewalls off for the DL--always get the same message. Usually end up going to Filefront for patches...

Im working on getting a torrent up for those that want to use a torrent file, but bittorrent and creating a server escape me as ive not dealt with them too much. Gonna be a bit.

Im only keeping the torrent up till 5PM Eastern today because of the nature of how I have to host it. The standard download zip file will remain indefinitely, but the torrent wont work after 5PM.

I downloaded it, yet when I run WoW it goes to the Blizzard Downloader, tears through to 98% because I've got all that, then starts downloading its own 2 MB for the last 2% and crashes. Blar.

edit: Disabled P2P, problem solved.
